The annual production capacity of the nitrogen fertilizers is 1 million tons, and the production capacity of single ammonia and urea plants ranks first in China. Moreover, the annual production capacity of the phosphate compound fertilizers is 5.8 million tons and the production capacity of high-concentration phosphate compound fertilizers ranks first in Asia and second around the world.
The Group’s annual production capacity of the phosphate chemical industry comes up to 430,000 tons. The subsidiary Malong Industry is a domestic largest enterprise for production of yellow phosphorus, and Tianchuang Science& Technology has currently domestic largest and multifunctional production equipment for high-quality phosphates.
At present, the Group’s annual production capacity of the refined salt and industrial salt comes up to 600,000 tons, and the annual production capacity of salt chemical products like polyvinyl chlorides and sodium hudroxide reaches to 260,000 tons, which created four “firsts” in China’s history of salt industry such as the salt iodization.
At present, with an annual production capacity of 240,000 tons of new glass fiber materials, the Group is listed among three major production bases of glass fibers in China and regarded as an earliest enterprise that employs a “direct method” to manufacture E glass fibers, with economic benefits ranking the first in China. Besides, the Group also owns domestic leading test equipment for glass-fiber products, application research center and currently world largest ECR glass fiber production lines.
Relying on the Yunnan’s abundance in phosphate resources and large-scale mining and addressing, the Group’s mining and dressing of phosphate ores reaches to 13 million tons, ranking the first in China. Rich in phosphate ore resources, Yunnan is one of major mining and dressing bases in China for phosphate ores, and the zone of phosphate ores in Dianchi is always praised as an oriental Florida.
